Maruti Suzuki India has launched next generation Alto K10 with sporting new youthful looks, delivering a fuel efficiency of 24.07 km/l, an improvement of 15 per cent over the outgoing model. The new gen Alto K10 now is available in six variants including a CNG variant. Further, the popular Auto Gear Shift technology, which was first introduced by one of its earlier model Celerio has now been incorporated in the VXi trim of the new Alto K10.
The Amaze was updated in May 2016. This update includes a new grille, dashboard design, which are the same as the Brio, new taillights, and the use ofcontinuous variable transmission, replacing the 5-speed automatic one. The engine remains the same. Similar to the previous model, both the engines use the same 5-speed manual transmission, while the CVT is offered on the gasoline variant only.
The updated Amaze is offered in E, S, SX and VX trims.
